▪ How Can I Become a Member of the Journal?
You can easily register by entering your personal information through the Registration (Reviewer / Author) section of AKALID and creating a password of your choice.

▪ I Forgot My Password. What Should I Do?
Go to the AKALID homepage and click on the Submit Article section. In the Forgot Your Password tab that opens, enter your email and select the Password Reset option to request a new password. Once your request is received by the system, a new password will be automatically generated and sent to you as soon as possible.

▪ How Can I Submit a New Manuscript to the Journal?
Log in to your personal page using the username and password you created via the Submit Article section of AKALID. After logging in, go to the My Manuscript tab and click Add Manuscript. Fill in the requested information step by step. Upload your manuscript as a Word document, prepared according to the guidelines specified under the Writing Rules section on the homepage.

▪ How Can I Track the Review and Publication Process of My Manuscript?
After submission through your personal page on the Manuscript Tracking System at www.akalid.com, you can follow the review process on the same page using your email and password. After this stage, you need to wait for the reviewers’ reports to make corrections. You should upload your revised manuscript to the page corresponding to the reviewer who requested the corrections.

▪ How Can I Upload a Revised Manuscript to the System?
Log in to your personal page via the Submit Article section using your existing username and password. Hover over the title of your manuscript and click it, then go to the Manuscript File interface on the right side of the screen. Add the revised text under the Full Text tab. Important: Do not delete the old file(s), as this will restart the process from the beginning, causing unnecessary loss of time and effort for both you and the journal.

▪ Can I Publish a Paper Presented at a Symposium or Conference in AKALID?
AKALID does not publish papers that have already been presented and published at any symposium or conference. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been previously published or be under review elsewhere.

▪ Can I Publish an Article Derived from a Thesis in AKALID?
Articles derived from postgraduate theses may only be included if it is clearly stated in a footnote on the first page of the manuscript that the article was derived from the thesis.
