The Journal of Academic Literature Social Sciences Research (AKALİD) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal established in 2023, publishing scholarly works in the field of Social Sciences in both Turkish and English. Since 2023, the journal has been published three times a year at four-month intervals, in December, April, and August.

AKALİD may publish one special issue per year. Special issues are organized in line with political, military, economic, and similar developments emerging at national and international levels. These issues are shaped through public announcements based on a pre-determined thematic focus.

Manuscripts and articles submitted to The Journal of Academic Literature Social Sciences Research (AKALİD) are reviewed by the Editorial Board and the Referee Board. Research articles that pass the editorial review are evaluated scientifically by the Referee Board using the double-blind peer review method. The authors bear full responsibility for the ideas, opinions, views, suggestions, and similar content expressed in the manuscripts and articles. Such views do not necessarily reflect the opinions of AKALİD.

The 2023/1 (December 2023), 2024/1 (April 2024), and 2024/2 (August 2024) issues of the journal were published under the title The Journal of Academic Literature International History Research. As of the 2024/3 (December 2024) issue, following the approval of our application submitted to the relevant department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the journal has continued its publication activities under the title The Journal of Academic Literature Social Sciences Research.
