Özet
In the success of the National Struggle and the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, the efforts of the soldiers fighting on the front lines were as effective as the struggle behind the front lines. Following the Armistice of Mondros, harmful minority activities intensified in Amasya and its surroundings, as in many parts of Anatolia. In order to eliminate these activities, the clergy in the region declared their commitment to the National Struggle and caused the public's perspective on the National Struggle to change. Success came in this environment of unity and solidarity. Knowing the relationships between the clergy of Amasya and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during the National Struggle will be important in correcting the mistakes we know as right and eliminating the prejudice against the clergy. In our study, the minority activities that took place in Amasya and its surroundings during the National Struggle will be examined. In order to eliminate these activities, the activities of the clergy in Amasya and their attitudes towards the National Struggle will be examined.
